News: AIR Project Completed: AI and Company Valuation 30.07.2026. 13:17 AIR Project Completed: Artificial Intelligence in the Service of Understanding Company Valuation Zagreb Stock Exchange, Forvis Mazars and Solvership have successfully completed the development of the AIR (Artificial Intelligence Research) project, an innovative platform that uses artificial intelligence, advanced data analytics and financial models to bring the company valuation process closer to users. Analysis for six companies from the Prime Market of the Zagreb Stock Exchange is available on the website www.air-stocks.com. The project was implemented with financial support from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) through the Taiwan Business - EBRD Technical Cooperation Fund and represents one of the first examples of artificial intelligence application in the field of financial analytics and investor education on the Croatian capital market. Kristijan Cinotti (Forvis Mazars), Ivana Gažić (Zagreb Stock Exchange) Understanding Company Value through Modern Technologies The goal of the AIR project is not to provide investment recommendations or determine the "exact" value of an individual company, but to better understand the operations and financial indicators of listed companies. The platform was developed primarily as an educational and research tool that enables users to better understand how company value is estimated, which variables affect the estimate and how different business assumptions can affect the future value of the company. By applying standard financial methodologies, including the discounted cash flow (DCF) model, AIR shows how changes in revenues, profitability, investments, cost of capital and other key indicators can affect the estimated value of the company. From Financial Statements to Analytical Report The platform automatically collects and processes publicly available financial data, calculates key financial indicators and generates structured analyses and summaries using artificial intelligence capabilities. This approach enables: faster processing of financial data, standardized approach to company analysis, better understanding of key value drivers, simpler comparison of companies, greater accessibility of financial analytics to the wider investment community. Collaboration of Financial Expertise and Artificial Intelligence The project combined three key areas of expertise: Zagreb Stock Exchange provided market context and access to relevant data, Forvis Mazars developed valuation methodology and financial models, Solvership developed the technological platform and AI functionalities. The result is a functional platform that demonstrates how artificial intelligence can improve traditional financial analysis processes, increase transparency and contribute to investor financial education. New Step towards a Developed Capital Market The AIR project shows that artificial intelligence does not have to replace financial analysts, but can serve as a powerful tool for better understanding financial information and investment decision-making processes. By combining expert financial knowledge, market data and modern technologies, a tool has been created that enables investors, students, researchers and the wider business community to gain deeper insight into company valuation processes and better understanding of factors that create value in the capital market. More about the AIR (Artificial Intelligence Research) Project The AIR project represents a research and educational initiative focused on better understanding company valuation through analysis of selected companies listed on the Prime Market of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE). The web application provides automated indicative value estimates and key financial insights for selected companies. It also collects and processes financial data, including profit and loss accounts and balance sheets, and applies the discounted cash flow (DCF) methodology to estimate the indicative value of the company. In addition, artificial intelligence (AI) is used to generate summarized information and additional insights. The application is intended exclusively for educational and research purposes. Value estimates, financial analyses and content generated by artificial intelligence are indicative in nature and serve as support for learning, research and investment analysis. They do not constitute investment advice, recommendation to buy or sell securities or a final or binding estimate of the company's value. The project was financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), with support from the Taiwan Business - EBRD Technical Cooperation Fund.
